I think I got a problem. Seriously... I think I'm addicted to the internet. I only realised this when my internet was down almost a day.
It happened on 2nd April 2013. It was roughly at 1am when the internet stop working.
I was busy reading tweets and watching random Youtube videos on my MommyPro/Lily (I know I must be the lamest girl who named her 15 inch Macbook Pro Lily... I just had to because I have another Macbook Pro but that mbp is only for school uses only *DON'T ASK WHY I HAVE 2 MBP*). Suddenly my Youtube video doesn't want to load. I wondered why. I thought that I had a very slow internet connection. (it always happen if you cable ever since there is fibre optic thingy) So what I usually do is to check my broadband and my router. I saw my router working fine but when I checked my broadband, THERE IS NO LIGHT!. Sooo... I START TO PANIC!!!! I was literally on the floor rolling. I don't really know what to do. It was like 1 in the morning. Everyone was asleep and nobody could help me at this late hour. I bet that the call centre won't be able to help either. So I tried the next best thing... try to tether my iPhone hotspot. BUT... It doesn't work... I'd try a lot of times but it just doesn't work on Lily. So I gave up and had a very serious mental break down.
Luckily I still got my 3G connection on my phone. But the only things that I can do was tweet and instagram because the other application are simply lag so I don't be bordered to use Youtube app and Safari browser.(Keep in mind that I'm still using my 8 GB iPhone 3GS with iOS 6.1, so go figure how lagging it is) So this is what I've posted on twitter and instagram.
I whatsapp-ed my friends. But all of them already fell asleep.
BUT!!!!!!
end up all the panic attacks and the dramas were wasted when I realised that the cable that attached the electrical socket and the adapter WAS NOT connected. That was the reason why my broadband did not have any lights to indicate there is internet connection.
It was at the same day at 12 pm.
I was getting ready for an interview for my internship. When I took out my make up box, THERE IT IS... the cable was not connected then I tweeted it.
